We offer support on the many diverse issues organisations face.<span style="font-family: Calibri; color: black; font-size: 11pt"> <br /></span></div> </li> <li>COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND ADVOCACY<br />NSCSS is an advocate for the social service sector, making submissions, talking to MPs and government officials and hosting forums on issues of importance to the sector.</li> <li>NETWORKING AND FACILITATION<br />We facilitate networking and information sharing and foster collaboration and joint initiatives among community agencies.</li> <li>COMMUNITY RESOURCE PUBLICATIONS<br />We publish around 25 Community Resource booklets providing information and guidance to improve the daily management and promotion of community agencies. You can order these now.</li> <li>AUCKLAND REGION FUNDING DIRECTORY<br />Provides details of fund providers for not for profit groups across the Auckland region. Updated yearly.</li> <li>WORKSHOPS AND TRAINING SEMINARS<br />We offer training seminars and workshops on a wide range of topics relevant to the sector throughout the year. You will find a schedule on our website. </li> <li>APPLICATION FOR UMBRELLA STATUS<br />Many groups who are not legally constituted may need an umbrella group while they are setting themselves up. NSCSS provides this function for a number of groups.
